ANALYSIS: Sam Bradford failed to blow us away in a cupcake matchup against the worst pass defense in the league according to Football Outsiders’ DVOA metric, but he still completed 31-of-40 passes for 273 yards and a TD. There was a clear emphasis on quick, high-percentage passes. Of course, there was that whole thing about this being the first week of Pat Shurmur running the offense in the wake of the Norv Turner recently “resigning.” A road date against a rested Josh Norman and Washington looms in Week 10, but some upside remains for those who have faith in this new system taking flight.
