We had a weak Thursday slate, but it is being followed by a large Friday slate. There are plenty of pitching options to go along with tremendous hitting options in all price ranges.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 8/25/17. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider

Zack Greinke - vs SF (DK - $12,600, FD - $9,600)

Greinke has been enjoying an elite season, especially at home. Through 14 starts in Arizona, Greinke has an 11-1 record, 2.34 ERA, and 10.9 K/9. He gets an elite matchup against the Giants, who have struggled offensively this season. Greinke is a huge -232 favorite in a game set at 9 runs, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.

Kenta Maeda - vs MIL (DK - $10,300, FD - $8,700)

Maeda has caught fire over his last nine starts, as he has a 6-2 record, 2.94 ERA, and 8.5 K/9 over that span. He gets a great matchup against a boom or bust Brewers offense tonight. Maeda is currently a -182 favorite in a game set at only 8 runs. He's cheap enough to be considered in all leagues on this slate.

 

DFS Infielders to Consider

Miguel Montero - C, vs MIN (DK - $3,100, FD - $2,300)

Montero hasn't been playing well recently, but he has found ways to stay fairly consistent for his low price tag. He also hits right-handed pitching extremely well, and he gets a great matchup against Bartolo Colon. He's a solid salary relief option on this slate.

Tyler Austin - 1B, vs SEA (DK - $3,000, FD - $2,900)

Austin has only played in a few games this season, but has displayed elite upside. He's a powerful player, and he gets a good matchup against Ariel Miranda. He's playing in an extremely hitter friendly stadium, and he can be considered in all leagues until his price tag increases.

Rougned Odor - 2B, at OAK (DK - $3,900, FD - $3,400)

Odor is a special player in the MLB. He hits right-handed pitching extremely well, and he gets a good matchup against Kendall Graveman. Odor is hitting nearly .300 over his last 10 games, and he's a player that comes with an elite combination of power and speed. He comes with tremendous upside, but he's also consistent. He can be used in all leagues.

Luis Valbuena - 3B, vs HOU (DK - $3,500, FD - $3,100)

Valbuena has caught fire over his last 10 games, as he's hitting over .350 with tremendous power over that span. He has found quite a bit of success against right-handed pitching this season, and he gets a good matchup against Collin McHugh. Valbuena can be used in all leagues.

Paul DeJong - SS, vs TB (DK - $4,500, FD - $3,500)

DeJong has been an elite hitter at home this season, as he's hitting over .350 with an OPS over 1.000 in St. Louis this season. He's also hitting nearly .350 with tremendous power over his last 10 games. He gets a good matchup against Jake Odorizzi, and he can be considered in all leagues.

 

DFS Outfielders to Consider

Giancarlo Stanton - OF, vs SD (DK - $5,700, FD - $5,100)

Stanton has been on a tear recently, as he's hitting over .300 with an OPS north of 1.100 over his last 10 games. He has displayed elite power this season, as he recently surpassed 45 home runs on the season. He gets a good matchup against Travis Wood, and Stanton can be used in all leagues.

Dexter Fowler - OF, vs TB (DK - $4,300, FD - $3,900)

Fowler has looked outstanding over his last 10 games, as he's hitting over .350 with solid power over that span. He's an extremely consistent option and he comes with plenty of upside, as well. He gets a good matchup against Jake Odorizzi, and Fowler can be used in all leagues.
