We have an 11 game main slate tonight, with plenty of options all across the board. A ton of big offenses on the board, so if you want to load up on those skaters, you will need to find some value elsewhere. Also some good goalies who are road favorites, and in a spot to pick up the win.
Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually 5.5 goals is average, so targets games at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 10/28/17. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom. Let's get to it, shall we?

DFS Forwards to Consider
Sean Couturier – C, PHI @ TOR (DK - $5,800, FD - $5,800)
Couturier sees time on the first forward line and the second power-play unit, so we know he will be getting the ice time. He has nine points in nine games this season, and has 25 shots over that span. He makes a great cash game play today, since he has been super consistent to start the year, and Philly has been scoring a good amount of goals so far.
Rick Nash – W, NYR @ MON (DK - $5,100, FD - $6,200)
Nash only has one points this season. Yes, the former All-Star has one point in 10 games this season. He has 39 shots in 10 games, which is a great average, and just from the eye test, he is playing well. This means he is due for some positive regression, and he will find the back of the net soon. He is on the top forward line and the top power-play unit, so plenty of ice time. Best if used in a stack.
Adrian Kempe – C, LA @ BOS (DK - $4,400 FD - $4,200)
Kempe is a rising young star for the Kings, who is on a hot streak right now. He has goals in three straight games, and makes a very strong play today. The Bruins are dealing with a ton of injuries, and if they are still without Tuukka Rask, the Kings are in a spot to win. Kempe is on the second forward line and the second power-play unit, so with his hot hand, he will be looking to extend his goal streak.
DFS Defenders to Consider
Brent Burns – D, SJ @ BUF (DK - $7,100, FD - $7,200)
Burns is one of the elite defenders in the league and even though he is super expensive, he is worth the price. He has still yet to find the back of the net, but is up against Buffalo, who have given up the second most goals in the league. Burns takes a ton of shots, and also blocks a good amount of shots, so plenty of fantasy value. He is on the top defensive pairing and the top power-play unit.
Alex Pietrangelo – D, CLS @ STL (DK - $6,900, FD - $6,300)
Pietrangelo is a workhorse for the Blues, he is playing about 25 minutes per game, and is on the first defensive pairing and the first power-play unit. He has 12 points in 10 games, and is averaging almost four shots per game. Huge fantasy value here, and he can be played in a stack or solo for cash games.
DFS Goalies to Consider
Martin Jones – SJ @ BUF (DK - $8,200, FD - $9,100)
Jones is on the road vs Buffalo and comes in at -130 favorite according to Vegas. Buffalo has only averaging 2.4 goals per game, and are among the lowest scoring teams in the league. The Sharks are one of the better defensive teams in the league, with Jones having four wins in his six starts. He stands to pick up the win, which is huge for fantasy points.
