FantasyDraft - DFS Quarterback Pick
Josh McCown at DEN ($10,800)
McCown has quietly been heating up recently, averaging 319 yards and two touchdowns per game over his last two games. He was also able to add 47 yards and two touchdowns on the ground in those games, as well. He is somewhat of a dual-threat quarterback, as he does not run for a ton of yards, but he does have five rushing touchdowns this season. He gets a matchup against the Denver Broncos, who are only allowing 204 passing yards per game, but they have allowed a league-high 26 passing touchdowns this season. McCown still comes with a cheap price tag, making him an elite option this week.
FantasyDraft - DFS Running Back Picks
Melvin Gordon vs WAS ($12,900)
There was a lot of talk that Austin Ekeler was taking over for Gordon, but that simply has not been the case. Over his last three games, Gordon is averaging 22.3 touches per game. He has turned those into 91.3 yards and 0.3 touchdowns per game. He gets a great matchup against the Washington Redskins, who rank 27th in the NFL against running backs. The Chargers are sizable favorites, meaning Gordon could spend the second half running out the clock. He is a high upside option this week.
Giovani Bernard vs CHI ($6,000)
Bernard is the most obvious option at running back, but that does not mean he is the wrong one. Jeremy Hill is on IR, while Joe Mixon is currently questionable with a concussion. Mixon has not passed any tests thus far this week, meaning he is likely closer to doubtful than probable. Last week, Bernard totaled 96 yards on 15 touches. He has performed well on a per touch basis this season, making him a great option if he is going to take over as the workhorse this weekend.
FantasyDraft - DFS Wide Receiver Picks
Keenan Allen vs WAS ($16,100)
Allen has been on an unbelievable streak recently. Over his last three games, he has totaled 33 receptions for 436 yards and four touchdowns on 41 targets. He has also been a better receiver at home, averaging over 100 receiving yards in six home games. He gets a matchup against the Washington Redskins, who have played well against receivers this season. With that being said, Allen is seemingly matchup proof on his recent streak, and he can be used in all leagues, even for his high price tag.
DeAndre Hopkins vs SF ($13,900)
Hopkins has been one of the best receivers in the NFL throughout the season. He is averaging a 6.4/90.3/0.8 line on 11.6 targets per game. He has been playing at an elite level recently, as well, scoring at least 16 fantasy points in eight of his last nine games, including six games with more than 20 fantasy points. He gets a great matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, who have struggled against receivers for the majority of the season. Hopkins comes with a bit of a surprising price tag this week, and he is an elite option in all leagues.
FantasyDraft - DFS Tight End Pick
Jimmy Graham at JAX ($9,300)
Graham is currently questionable because he is not practicing, but that has been the case for the majority of the season. He has looked good, averaging a 4.3/39.4/0.8 line on 7.0 targets per game. He is leading the NFL in red zone targets with 25, converting 15 into catches with 105 yards and nine touchdowns. He gets a matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have been an elite secondary against wide receivers, but have struggled at times against tight ends. Graham has been playing well enough to be considered in all leagues.
FantasyDraft - DFS Defense Pick
Green Bay Packers D/ST at CLE ($6,000)
The Packers have not been an elite defense this season, averaging 2.4 sacks and 1.7 turnovers per game this season. This recommendation is all about opportunity, though. They get a matchup against the Cleveland Browns, who lead the league in interceptions thrown with 21. Green Bay is currently a -3.5 point favorite in a game set at only 40 points, giving Cleveland an implied team total of 18.3 points. Green Bay can be used in all leagues on this slate.
