After a huge Wednesday slate, we have a two game slate tonight. There are plenty of options, though, as the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors are dealing with injuries to their best players.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/4/18. I play both cash and GPP, so I will be looking for both players who have consistency, along with value plays that have upside from a favorable match up, or other factors.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook - PG, at LAC ($11,300)

Westbrook has been playing at an elite level recently, averaging 31.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, 11.2 assists, and 1.6 steals per game over the last 10 days. He has scored at least 60 DK points in seven of his last nine games. He could have scored 60+ DK points again last night, but he was pulled after only 28 minutes of action because the game was a blowout. He should be locked into full minutes tonight, making him an elite option.

Gerald Green - SG/SF, vs GS ($4,000)

Green saw his minutes jump to 28 in his first game without James Harden. He also scored 27 points with six rebounds, two assists, and one block in that game. He comes with tremendous upside because of his elite scoring potential. This game should be fast paced and high scoring, which plays to Green's strengths. He will likely be owned at an extremely high rate, but he is a player that should be used in all leagues tonight.

 

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Draymond Green - PF/C, at HOU ($6,600)

Green is a player that is going to benefit from the injury to Kevin Durant tonight. Green is a versatile option, who will see a boost in peripheral stats with Durant out. Green also posted a 9/11/13 line in only 27.4 minutes of action against the Rockets earlier this season. This is the fast paced type of game Green thrives in, and he'll be a triple double threat tonight. He can be used in all leagues for his low price tag.

Omri Casspi - SF/PF, at HOU ($3,700)

Casspi is currently questionable for this game, but if he is active, he will play big minutes. The Warriors do not have many options at small forward with Durant out, and Casspi is averaging 7.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in only 16.2 minutes per game this season. He could see upwards of 30 minutes tonight, making him an elite option on a small slate.

 

DraftKings DFS Centers

Clint Capela - C, vs GS ($6,800)

Capela has been playing at an elite level on a per minute basis this season, averaging 1.37 DK points per minute. He should be locked into big minutes tonight, as the Rockets will be without Nene Hilario. Capela could also play a larger role in the offense with Harden injured. It's far from a guarantee, but Capela is likely to see around 30 minutes tonight. He still comes with a reasonable price tag, and he can be used in all leagues on this slate.
