There were only two games last night, but that opens up a big slate for tonight. We have 10 games, which gives up a solid amount of players to choose from. There is no right or wrong way for lineup construction tonight, although I'm leaning more towards mid-priced options at this point.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/5/18. I play both cash and GPP, so I will be looking for both players who have consistency, along with value plays that have upside from a favorable match up, or other factors.

DraftKings DFS Guards
Kris Dunn - PG/SG, at DAL ($7,100)
Dunn has been enjoying a solid season for the Bulls, and he is averaging 16.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 8.0 assists, 1.0 block, and 1.8 steals in 32.1 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He has also scored between 36 and 52 fantasy points in four of his last five games. He is expected to play more than 30 minutes again tonight, and he gets a good matchup against the Dallas Mavericks, who have struggled at times against the point guard this season. Dunn can be used in all leagues.
Tyus Jones - PG/SG, at BOS ($4,900)
Jones is being viewed as questionable tonight after getting stitches on his lip on Wednesday. He is expected to play, though, and he should be locked into 30+ minutes tonight with Jeff Teague out. He has been locked into big minutes over his last four games, averaging 7.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 3.0 steals per game. He gets a tough matchup against the Celtics, but Jones makes a decent salary relief option tonight.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
T.J. Warren - SF/PF, at SA ($6,100)
Warren saw his price tag drop because of his matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, but he is far too cheap now. He has been on fire recently, averaging 23.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.0 steal in 34.1 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He has scored at least 33 fantasy points in eight of his last nine games, and he makes a safe option with tremendous upside tonight. He can safely be used in all leagues tonight.
Ersan Ilyasova - SF/PF, at POR ($5,300)
Ilyasova has quietly been playing well for the Hawks recently, scoring 30+ fantasy points in five of his last six games. He gets a good matchup against the Portland Blazers, who he posted a 13/8/2/1/1 line against in their only matchup this season. This game should feature plenty of scoring, and Ilyasova is averaging double digit shot attempts per game over the last 10 days. He still comes with a low price tag, and he makes an elite salary relief option tonight.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Marquese Chriss - PF/C, at SA ($5,000)
Chriss comes with an absurd price tag tonight. He has been playing at an elite level recently, averaging 13.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 1.8 steals in 28.3 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He has also scored between 25 and 42 fantasy points in each of his last five games. He gets a tough matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, but they do not have the elite defense they have featured in the last few seasons. Chriss should have no problems hitting value once again tonight, and he can be used in all leagues.
