7 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees started off extremely slow, but finished with excellent passing numbers again in the second round of the playoffs. Brees threw for 294 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. The two picks came in the first half, as the Saints fell to a 17-0 deficit at halftime. He nearly brought his team back to victory with a 14-yard touchdown to Alvin Kamara with 2:20 left in the game and then a drive leading to a field goal a minute later. The Vikings had other plans, however. Brees put up two of his best fantasy games in his final two games of the 2017 season, both in the playoffs. His yardage and touchdown totals may have dipped, but he showed he is still an elite player at his position.--Pierre Camus - RotoBaller
