Alvin Kamara Nearly Plays Hero with Late Touchdown Against Vikings
7 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara surpassed 100 yards from scrimmage and scored a touchdown in the divisional round of the playoffs. Kamara outrushed Mark Ingram for the second straight game, putting up 43 yards on 11 carries, and also caught four passes for 62 yards. Kamara's score came with just over two minutes left in the game and gave the Saints their first lead of the game. It didn't last long, however, as an exchange of field goals and a dramatic last-second touchdown by Stefon Diggs ended their season. Kamara's slightly increased usage in the playoffs bodes well for his fantasy value next year, where he will likely be a first-round pick in many PPR leagues.
