7 years agoThe New York Giants announced earlier Monday that Vikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur has been named the 18th head coach in team history. Shurmur interviewed on Jan. 6 with team president John Mara, general manager Dave Gettleman and others. The Giants will look for Shurmur to not only win now with quarterback Eli Manning at the helm, but also teach a perceived early draft pick what it takes to play quarterback in the NFL.--TheRealHalupka
