7 years agoIn an interview with Packers.com reporter Mike Spofford, Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers (shoulder) indicated that his recovery has been progressing well. He emphasized that he will have no limitations when he returns to training camp in April. Rodgers broke his collarbone in Week 6, effectively ending his season. His injury turned Green Bay from title contenders to one of the league’s worst teams. Rodgers had previously broken his collarbone before in 2013 but returned in 2014 to win the MVP. You can expect Rodgers to return to a high level of play in 2018 but there are big question marks are for the rest of the offense. Wide receivers Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb are both carrying outsized cap hits that make both of them candidates to be cut. New general manager Brian Gutekunst has indicated that he plans to make big moves this offseason, so Green Bay’s offense could look radically different come next fall. Regardless, Rodgers should still be viewed as one of fantasy’s elite quarterback options in 2018.--Tyger McGuiggan
