BALLER MOVE: Target ~175
CURRENT ADP: 203
ANALYSIS: Bradley Zimmer made his Major League debut in 2017 and made an immediate splash. Over his first 36 at-bats, Zimmer hit .306 with a pair of homers and three steals. He settled into the everyday center field job and looked to be on track for a successful rookie year, but it wasn't a happy ending. Zimmer went homerless over his last 100 plate appearances and hit .144 in the last two months of the season. He managed to rack up eight HR and 18 SB before it was all said and done, but that came with a middling slash line of .241/.307/.385 amid league-average plate discipline.
Zimmer posted strong walk rates in the double digits each season in the minors and has stolen at least 27 bases across multiple levels for each of the last three years. His speed, combined with a raw power score of 55, gives him legitimate 20/20 potential this year. One thing to watch is his lineup spot. Zimmer must improve his on-base percentage if he has any chance to hit in the top third, rather than the #8 hole where he spent much of last season. As it stands, he is an ideal third or fourth outfielder in deep mixed leagues that is worth reaching for a couple of rounds earlier than his current ADP outside the top 200.
