Alex Wood Undergoing X-Rays
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Alex Wood (ankle) will undergo X-rays on his right ankle and will not take part in workouts Friday. Wood had an excellent first half in 2017, going 11-0 with a 1.56 ERA and 0.88 WHIP, but he predictably struggled a bit more in the second half with a 3.89 ERA and 1.24 WHIP. The southpaw obviously won't come at a great bargain like he did in 2017 for fantasy owners. Pay for the pitcher he was in the second half, not the first. Hopefully his ankle injury isn't too serious, and he'll have plenty of time to recover before the start of the season.
