Adam Eaton, Daniel Murphy On Target
7 years agoWashington Nationals manager Dave Martinez said outfielder Adam Eaton (knee) and second baseman Daniel Murphy (knee) are "right on target" with their rehab. The goal is for both to be ready for Opening Day. A torn ACL cost Eaton the majority of last season, but he should return as the starting center fielder for the Nats in 2018. At the top of the order, Eaton represents a value for his modest power abilities and speed, and he also can post elite runs scored and on-base percentage for fantasy owners. Murphy's fantasy outlook is a bit clouded, depending on his recovery, but he could come at a relative bargain if your league mates are skeptical. When healthy, Murphy makes elite contact, rarely strikes out, scores tons of runs and hits for an excellent average with decent power.
