7 years agoDenver Nuggets shooting guard Will Barton may have come off the bench Friday night versus the Memphis Grizzlies, but he played like a starter. Barton scored 24 points, going 10-for-14 from the field, with two of those made shots coming from downtown. In the contest, Barton also grabbed six rebounds to go along with his scoring barrage. Since the first of February, Barton has shot the ball very well, going 53.8 percent from the field, which is up from his season average of 45 percent. The Nuggets and Barton next take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday. Since Cleveland acquired their new players at the trade deadline, they are allowing just 102.4 points per contest. It may be a small sample size, but that average would have the Cavs giving up the fifth fewest points per game, so Barton may struggle on Saturday.--Matt Sparkington - RotoBaller
