7 years agoDerek Dietrich is ready to take on full-time outfield duties for the Miami Marlins as the team debuts a brand new outfield once the season begins. Primarily a versatile infielder, the departures of Christian Yelich, Marcell Ozuna and Giancarlo Stanton have forced Miami to shift some of its most flexible players to different positions. Dietrich's offense isn't much to write home about, though he's never had a full season to really show what he can do. He slashed .249/.334/.424 with 13 homers and 53 RBI in 2017. He could also be the favorite to bat leadoff for the Marlins this year, which could offer more opportunities for stolen bases and runs scored.--Steven Slivka
