7 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic played well on the defensive end against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. Jokic scored 17 points, shooting 5-for-15 from the field and 6-for-8 from the charity stripe. Jokic also had 12 rebounds, four steals and two blocks. This was the sixth straight contest with double-digit scoring for the Joker. During this span, Jokic is averaging 22 points, 10.5 boards and 8.1 assists per game. The Nuggets and Jokic will next take on the Miami Heat on Monday. Jokic will be defended by Heat center Hassan Whiteside for the most part. Whiteside has the second best defensive real plus-minus for centers in the league, so Jokic may struggle on Monday.--Matt Sparkington - RotoBaller
