7 years agoThe Miami Marlins have optioned outfield prospect Magneuris Sierra to Triple-A New Orleans, according to MLB.com's Joe Frisaro. Sierra, who came to the Marlins in the Marcell Ozuna trade, hit just .233 with three RBI and a stolen base this spring. The Marlins will start outfielders Lewis Brinson, Cameron Maybin, and Derek Dietrich when the season begins, though Sierra is sure to get called up at some point this year.--Steven Slivka
