7 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns was unstoppable on Wednesday night for the Atlanta Hawks, as he scored 56 points, which is a new franchise record. KAT sank six triples out of eight attempts and shot 19-for-32 overall, nailing 12 of 15 freebies. He also extended his league lead in double-doubles, notching his 63rd of the year with 14 rebounds. Towns is averaging 26.1 points and 12.1 rebounds this month, hitting 57.1 percent of his shots from outside. He'll have another superb matchup on Friday when the 'Wolves go to Dallas.
