Paul George Paces Thunder On Thursday With 26 Points
7 years agoOklahoma City Thunder small forward Paul George scored a game-high 26 points on Thursday in a losing effort against San Antonio, shooting 9-for-20 from the floor and 3-for-6 from outside. He was perfect from the line with five attempts and added seven rebounds, six assists, and four steals to his tally in 39 minutes. George had made only seven field goals in the last two outings combined, so it was a strong bounce-back effort. He's also likely to shine on Friday against Denver, as the Nuggets can't guard small forwards. They have allowed small forwards shoot 47.2 percent from the field this season, which is the second-worst mark in the league behind Atlanta.
