We have a nine game slate, and there are good options on the board. Stacking will be big tonight, so look for some value where you can, and then load up on the star skaters where you can afford them.
Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually 5.5 goals is average, so targets games at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/31/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom. Let's get to it, shall we?

DFS Forwards to Consider
Taylor Hall - W, NJ vs NYI (DK - $7,800, FD - $8,300)
If the Devils want to hold onto their playoff spot, then this is a game they should be winning, as they are up against the Islanders, who are one of the weakest defensive teams in the league. He has 10 points in his last six games, is on the top forward line, and the first power-play unit. Hall has also taken 26 shots over that six game span, making him a great cash game option for tonight’s slate.
Mika Zibanejad - C, NYR @ CAR (DK - $6,300, FD - $7,100)
Zibanejad makes more of a GPP option on this slate, and if you want, a Rangers second power-play stack makes a good option for tournaments tonight. It isn’t that expensive, and you can pair it with another high priced offense. He has 14 points in 12 games this month, and is taking over two shots per game. Zibanejad and the Rangers are up against the Hurricanes, who are giving up over three goals per game, and on the second night of a back to back.
DFS Defenders to Consider
Roman Josi - D, NSH vs BUF (DK - $6,200, FD - $6,200)
Josi is on the second defensive pairing and the second power-play unit, which should prove to be to his benefit tonight, as the Predators are up against the Sabres, who are giving up over three goals per game. Not only do the Sabres give up over three goals per game, but they give up a ton of shots, which will also play right for Josi, as he is taking about three shots per game. He also can chip in with over one blocked shot per game, so multiple ways for him to add points to your lineups.
Seth Jones - D, CLS @ VAN (DK - $6,400, FD - $)
Jones has been a bit up and down as of late, but this is a bit of a get right spot for him. The Blue Jackets are up against the Canucks, who are truly one of the worst teams in the league. Jones is on the first defensive pairing and the top power-play unit, so plenty of offensive upside for him tonight. Since he hasn’t been great in recent games, I would use him in a stack with Atkinson, Panarin, and Vanek to get the most out of this offense.
DFS Goalies to Consider
Matt Murray - G, PIT vs MON (DK - $8,400, FD - $8,300)
Murray has given up three or more goals in five straight starts, and that isn’t great by any means. But, this is a spot for him to getting his footing before heading into the playoffs. The Penguins are at home against the Canadiens, who you shouldn’t be afraid of offensively, meaning the Pens should be able to come away with the win. He is expensive, but with him seeing some good shots, and getting the win, the points will be there.
