Kevin Durant Fills Stat Sheet Inefficiently
7 years agoGolden State Warriors small forward Kevin Durant put up good counting stats but didn't have the best performance Thursday versus the Indiana Pacers. Durant scored 27 points, going 8-for-23 from the floor and 9-for-9 from the charity stripe. Additionally, Durant had seven assists, five boards and three steals. Since coming back from injury, Durant is only shooting 44 percent from the field, which is down from his average of 51.7 percent for the season. The next opponent for Durant and the Warriors are the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday night. The Pelicans will have small forward E'Twaun Moore primarily defend Durant and with Moore having the worst defensive real plus-minus for small forwards in the NBA, expect Durant to have solid production.
