7 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons slowed down a bit on Tuesday compared to his recent hot form, but he still played well against Atlanta after missing the morning shootaround with flu-like symptoms. Simmons picked up 16 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block in 29 minutes on the floor before fouling out near the end. He shot 5-for-9 from the field and 4-for-8 from the line. Simmons committed six turnovers, which wasn't nice to see, but it was acceptable considering the circumstances. He should feel better on Wednesday against the Bucks after getting some rest and he'll be ready to help the Sixers extend their franchise record to 16 consecutive wins.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
