Donovan Mitchell Shoots Poorly In Regular Season Finale
7 years agoUtah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell couldn't cap off his amazing rookie campaign with a bang, as his shot simply wasn't there Wednesday night against Portland. He failed to make at least 30 percent of his shots for the first time since March 9, finishing 6-for-23 from the field and 1-for-8 from downtown for 17 points. Mitchell did, however, manage to fill his stat sheet, getting six rebounds, five assists, and two steals. He's a great fantasy asset, who can be valuable even on poor shooting nights. It will be the battle of the top defensive sides between the Jazz and OKC in the opening round of the playoffs, so Mitchell's offensive production could remain low, but that shouldn't put you off from picking him in daily leagues.
