7 years agoTampa Bay Rays third base prospect Christian Arroyo has been off to a slow start in Triple-A Durham with his new organization. Arroyo was one of the key pieces in the package in the Evan Longoria deal this offseason with the Giants. Arroyo had a cup of coffee with the Giants last year before going down with an injury and hit .192 with three home runs and 14 RBI over 125 at-bats. Rays third baseman Matt Duffy has been off to a good start and the Rays have no reason to rush their third baseman of the future. Arroyo is likely to be in the big leagues at some point this year and offers good contact skills, but not enough power to be worthy of a must-add when his time comes.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
