7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers top hitting prospect, Alex Verdugo has been on fire lately in Triple-A. The standout outfielder has hit safely in nine of his last ten games and is now hitting .306 on the season. Verdugo has long been a favorite in the Dodgers organization as they have refused to include him in any potential trades. Verdugo connects the bat to the ball as well as anyone and it is likely that he will he will claim one of the corner outfield spots for the Dodgers sooner than later. He is a career .305 hitter in the minor leagues and does not strike often. One of the biggest signs for young players in their plate discipline and ability to draw walks and not strike out, Verdugo has checked those boxes and should already be owned in dynasty leagues.
