Anze Kopitar Opens His Postseason Account In Game 3
7 years agoLos Angeles Kings center Anze Kopitar recorded his first points of this year's Stanley Cup playoffs on Sunday, scoring the team's second goal late in the game and helping Alex Iafallo with a primary assist on the opening goal in a 3-2 loss. Kopitar has been a big disappointment so far in the playoffs, as he started play after a career year (92 points). Jonathan Quick has done some very good work between the pipes, but the offense just hasn't been there for the Kings, who now face elimination on Tuesday in Game 4. They will look to Kopitar to keep them alive and expect him to play some really heavy minutes. He logged 23:31 of ice time in Game 3.
