7 years agoAtlanta Braves pitching prospect Mike Soroka struck out seven batters for Triple-A Gwinnett Tuesday. It wasn’t his best start of the season as he allowed three runs and six hits over five innings, but it’s good to see that he only walked one batter. Soroka continues to impress and now has a 2.87 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 15 2/3 innings. Soroka has excelled at every level and he doesn’t have much left to prove for the Braves to call him up. He should be up at some point this year and is worth monitoring due to his strikeout numbers and high potential.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
