7 years agoOakland Athletics reliever Yusmeiro Petit was activated from family emergency leave, according to Martin Gallegos of The Mercury News. Petit was spending time in Venezuela with his mother who is battling a serious illness. It is understandable that it will be on the mind of Petit on a daily basis and thus justifiable if he doesn't finish as well as he did in 2017. Currently, Petit has a 3.00 ERA in 12 innings with seven strikeouts and remains a great choice in holds leagues.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
