7 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence (thumb) is expected to begin his rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento on Friday. Pence was placed on the disabled list last Friday with a right thumb sprain. It will be interesting to see how manager Bruce Bochy handles the outfield when Pence is back, as Mac Williamson has been on a tear since his promotion and both Pence and Austin Jackson have struggled this year. Pence can remain on waivers when he is activated in standard leagues.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
