7 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell picked up a pair of singles Monday evening versus the Colorado Rockies. Russell was benched on Saturday and now has back-to-back two-hit games with a run and RBI in both games. Russell has been off to a slow start and has responded well since his day off. He is worth owning in a strong Cubs lineup where he should be able to have plenty of RBI opportunities, but those that have him would've been wise to bench him during his cold stretch.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
