7 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Johnny Cueto (elbow) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with right elbow inflammation. Cueto has been dealing with the elbow issues over his past few starts and has pitched extremely well throughout the year. In five starts, he is 3-0 with a 0.84 ERA. Cueto will take an MRI and there is currently no timetable for his return. Andrew Suarez has been called up and is starting against the Padres on Tuesday. He could be an option for those in deep mixed and NL-only leagues in the right matchups while Cueto is sidelined.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
