7 years agoAndy Martino of SNY reports that the San Francisco Giants are showing “very strong” interest in New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey, who was designated for assignment on Friday. Martino also mentions the Reds as a possible suitor for Harvey’s services, and both the Mariners and Rangers have been linked to Harvey. The Giants are without their top two starting pitchers with Madison Bumgarner (finger) and Johnny Cueto (elbow) both sidelined until at least June.
