DraftKings Starting Pitchers
Noah Syndergaard - P, NYM vs TOR (DK - $10,800)
Syndergaard comes in with a 26% strikeout rate vs left-handed pitchers and a 29% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers. Those numbers should be a good sign for him, as he is up against the Blue Jays who have 24.4% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers, which is seventh worst in the league. He has given up three or fewer earned runs in seven of his eight starts this year, but only has two wins to show for it. Would be nice to get him some run support and pick up the win, which shouldn't be too hard, as he goes at least six innings in nearly every start.
Nick Pivetta - P, PHI @ BAL (DK - $7,200)
Pivetta certainly isn't the most consistent pitcher in the league, so you'll want to use him in GPPs instead of cash games. He has shown a high of 32 DraftKings points this season, with a low of -12.6 DK points. That is some serious variance, but if you embrace that, it can provide to be valuable in tournaments. He is up against the Orioles, who have a 24.1% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers, which is 11th worst in the league.
DraftKings Infielders
Carlos Santana - 1B, PHI @ BAL (DK - $4,400)
Santana has a .337 wBOA an a .260 ISO this season vs right-handed pitchers this season, which should line up nicely, as he is up against Andrew Cashner, who is giving up 2.57 HR/9 to lefties. Santana comes into this game with two multi-hit games over his last four, along with two home runs.
Jed Lowrie - 2B, OAK @ BOS (Dk - $4,000)
Lowrie has the third most hits in the league this season and is quietly going about his business every single game. He has five multi-hit games over his last 10 games, along with eight RBIs and two home runs. Lowrie and the Athletics get a nice positive park boost being at Fenway, and he will have the platoon advantage tonight.
Jose Bautista - 3B, ATL vs CHC (DK - $3,600)
Joey Bats is showing he still has something left in the tank, as he comes into this game with two home runs in his last four games. Tonight he is up against Yu Darvish, who is giving 1.65 HR/9 to right-handed hitters this season. Not the best cash game option, but chase that home run upside in GPPs.
Jean Segura - SS, SEA vs TEX (DK - $3,900)
Segura has a .364 wOBA and a .113 ISO vs right-handed pitchers this season, and is now up against Mike Minor, who is giving up a .367 wOBA to right-handed hitters this season. He comes into this game with four multi-hit games in his last five games. Segura has a 13% strikeout rate vs left-handed pitchers, so never at a disadvantage, and always able to produce.
DraftKings Outfielders
David Peralta - OF, ARI vs MIL (DK - $3,900)
Peralta is Jhoulys Chacin, who is giving up a 39% hard contact left-handed hitters this season, along with 1.00 HR/9 this season. Peralta should line up nicely against him, as he has .423 wOBA and a .283 ISO. The Diamondbacks are struggling right now, so use him as a one-off in your lineups.
JaCoby Jones - OF, DET vs CLE (DK - $3,200)
Jones is a bit of a cheaper option who is batting in the middle of the lineup, so he makes a good salary saver today. He is up against Josh Tomlin who is giving up a .422 wOBA to right-handed hitters this season, which, you guessed it, is terrbile. Love the Tigers as a sneaky stack today, and Jones makes a good addtion to it.
