Alex Bregman Hitting .213 Against Left-Handed Pitching
6 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman and Co. find themselves in second place for the first time this season heading into Tuesday's night action against the division-leading Mariners. Bregman will face left-hander James Paxton in the opener, and he has struggled to this point against lefties. He is slashing only .213/.333/.377 in 61 at-bats against southpaws and Paxton is one of the hotter pitchers in the American League right now. Bregman is off to a solid start this season, hitting .260 with six home runs, 18 doubles and 27 runs batted in but may not be the strongest play in daily leagues for Tuesday.
