7 years agoAtlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian is much more comfortable and confident running the offense heading into Year 2. “At this point a year ago, I was still going through a lot of the growing pains of the system, the players and learning the staff,” Sarkisian said. “Year 2 is just night and day, for me personally, just from a comfort level and where we are as a team.” Atlanta's offense took a step back in 2017 after a record-setting year in 2016 on their way to a Super Bowl appearance. Head coach Dan Quinn highlighted a lack of explosive plays, their poor red-zone offense and turnover margin as things to improve. The Falcons also drafted receiver Calvin Ridley in the first round, so they should be able to bounce back under Sarkisian this year. That's good news for all parties involved on the offense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
