6 years agoThe Denver Nuggets have added a high-upside rookie with the 14th pick in the NBA Draft, selecting Missouri forward Michael Porter Jr. After missing most of last season with a back injury, there were major question marks about his health, which led to Porter falling from his preseason status as a top-five pick to his final place as the last pick in the lottery. If healthy, Porter can be a tremendous player for the Nuggets as a gifted scorer who can take over games, but there have already been whispers that he could sit out a chunk of his rookie season to protect him from further injuring his back.
