6 years agoHouston Astros infielder/outfielder Marwin Gonzalez has begun to turn his season around, slashing .429/.500/.728 over his last 42 at-bats. Eight of his 18 hits during this stretch have gone for extra bases (one home run, three triples, four doubles) while driving in six runs. After a dismal start to the season, Gonzalez now has his average up to .257 on the season heading into Friday night's action against the Royals. He will have a fantastic matchup to start the weekend off right against expected Kansas City starter Danny Duffy. In his career against Duffy, Gonzalez is 8-for-16 (.500) lifetime and will be a sneaky strong matchup-based play for Friday's fantasy action.--Joey C - RotoBaller
