6 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Mike Zunino (hand) is targeting Tuesday as a return date to the lineup. He is currently dealing with some swelling in his right hand after taking a ball off the thumb a few games ago. The injury doesn't appear to be serious, but the team and Zunino want to see the swelling go down before he returns. Zunino has only one hit in his last 19 at-bats with nine strikeouts during that span. For the season, Zunino carries a slugging percentage of .417 with 11 home runs but is hitting only .194 with 79 punch outs in only 180 at-bats. When he returns, Zunino brings power but little else to the fantasy table from the catching position.--Joey C - RotoBaller
