7 years agoThe Texas Rangers placed first baseman Ronald Guzman (head) on the seven-day concussion disabled list on Tuesday and recalled outfielder Ryan Rua from Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move. Guzman was hitting just .227 with seven home runs and 30 RBI on the year and was seeing little playing time ever since Adrian Beltre returned from his injury. Joey Gallo should see most of the starts at first base now. Rua is a bench piece that was hitting only .163/.207/.267 with two long balls and five RBI in 86 at-bats this year.
