6 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura went 3-for-4 Tuesday night as the Mariners beat the Orioles 3-2. Segura is having a fantastic season and racked up his 32nd multi-hit game of the season. It has taken a couple of games to get back into the flow after missing time with a forearm infection, but Segura seems ready to take off again. He is slashing an impressive .337/.364/.479 with 44 runs driven in, 53 runs scored and is playing like an All-Star. His .374 BABIP may take a hit at some point this season, but Segura has always been a player that loves to constantly put the ball in play. He is a top-five shortstop in the American League and is the heart and soul of an improved Mariners offense this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
