FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (6/30/18): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

We have a split slate of games which is normal for a Saturday and gives us six games in the early slate which starts at 4 pm and a seven-game night slate. Solid options across the board, so I'll try to hit on a few from each slate.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/30/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Jacob deGrom - P, NYM @ MIA (FD - $11,700)

A lot of people were on deGrom yesterday, including me, but turns out we had to wait another day to roster him. deGrom has only allowed three or more earned runs one time in his last 11 starts. He is up against the Marlins, who come in with a team wOBA sitting at .295 vs right-handed pitchers, which is sixth worst in the league. The Marlins also come in with a 23.7% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers, which is 10th worst in the league. deGrom should be a great cash game play on the afternoon slate.

Felix Hernandez - P, SEA vs KAN (FD - $7,800)

Hernandez is up against the Royals, who come in with a .287 wOBA vs right-handed pitchers this season, which is second worst in the league, along with having a very unimpressive .123 ISO. This puts Hernandez, who is cheaper, in a very good spot to be a solid point per dollar play. The Royals don't strike out a whole lot, but this favorable pitcher's park should help Hernandez limit the damage against this weaker offensive team.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Eric Thames - 1B, MIL @ CIN (FD - $4,200)

Thames didn't do a whole lot yesterday, but you should be willing to go right back to the well with him tonight. He is up against Tyler Mahle, who is giving up a .400 wOBA to lefties along with 2.43 HR/9 this season. Those are some terrible numbers which will play nicely into Thames'.320 vs right-handed pitchers.

Alen Hanson - 2B, SFG @ ARI (FD - $2,600)

Hanson, the switch-hitting second basemen offers a bit of a salary relief today, which is always a good thing when there are expensive pitchers on the mound. He comes in with a .451 wOBA and a .367 ISO this season vs right-handed pitchers. Average park factor for him, but up against a pitcher who is giving up a .516 wOBA to lefties this year, in a small sample size.

Luis Valbuena - 3B, LAA @ BAL (FD - $2,500)

Valbuena is another cheap hitter to stick into your lineup, who also has a few things going for him. He is up against Andrew Cashner, who is giving up a .363 wOBA to lefties this year along with 1.77 HR/9. This should play well into the modest .150 ISO Valbuena has vs right-handed pitchers. Not going to blow you away, but he is under $3K today.

Francisco Lindor - SS, CLE @ OAK (FD - $4,700)

Lindor has a ..357 wOBA and a massive .259 ISO this season vs right-handed pitchers, which are simply elite numbers. This is a negative park shift for him, but he is up against Edwin Jackson, who is a long time DFS gas can, meaning you can pick on him any time you want, like today.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Joc Pederson - OF, LOS vs COL (FD - $2,700)

Pederson is cheap and often leads off for the Dodgers, which gives him nice value and upside. He comes in with a .416 wOBA and a .329 ISO this season vs right-handed pitchers, which are shockingly high for someone at his price. It lines up well for him since he is up against German Marquez, who is giving up a .374 wOBA to lefties this year.

Mitch Haniger - OF, SEA vs KAN (FD - $3,800)

Haniger has hits in five of his last seven games, with three doubles and one home run. Today he comes in a bit too cheap on FanDuel and finds himself in a nice matchup vs Jason Hammel, who is giving up a .359 wOBA to lefties this year, along with a 44% hard contact rate. Haniger has a .236 ISO vs RHP, so he has the power to hit one out against a bad pitcher.
