6 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Ryon Healy has enjoyed some strong offensive performances recently and has three home runs over his last 10 games. He has seven runs batted in during this stretch and now for the season has 16 home runs with 49 runs driven in. Healy has brought power to a Mariners lineup this season that really struggled getting production from first base in 2017. He posted a .491 slugging percentage in the month of June and has consistently contributed to an improved Seattle offense. Healy is a grip-it-and-rip-it slugger who rarely walks (11 walks in 258 at-bats) but provides power to the second half of a lineup that is stacked with speedsters like Dee Gordon and Jean Segura at the top. Healy's fantasy value, however, takes a hit playing a position that is manned by so many elite players at first base.--Joey C - RotoBaller
