FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (7/3/18): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

We have a sizable slate tonight, featuring 12 games. There are a few dominant pitchers, including Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke, but we also have solid salary relief options. There will be plenty of different ways to construct your lineups tonight.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 7/3/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me up on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Clayton Kershaw - P, vs PIT ($10,600)

Kershaw comes with a depleted price tag because of his recent injury. He threw 68 pitches in his last start, though, and his pitch count will rise again tonight. In his last start, he threw five innings of one run baseball, while striking out six batters. He gets an elite matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight, and Kershaw is a -240 favorite in a game set at only 7 runs. He's an elite pitcher at a value price tag tonight.

Shane Bieber - P, at KC ($8,200)

Bieber has looked outstanding through four starts this season, posting a 3-0 record with a 2.22 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP. He also owns a 0.7 HR/9 with a 10.0 K/9 through 24.1 innings. Bieber gets an elite matchup against the Kansas City Royals, who hit under .200 as a team in the month of June. Bieber is a -220 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs, and he's an elite option in all leagues.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Edwin Encarnacion - C/1B, at KC ($4,100)

Encarnacion has been a huge part of the Indians offense recently, recording 15 RBIs over his last 10 games. He's also hitting .282 with six extra-base hits (four home runs) over that span. He gets a great matchup against Danny Duffy, who has struggled against right-handed batters this season. Encarnacion can safely be used in all leagues tonight.

Yoan Moncada - 2B, at CIN ($2,900)

Moncada is only hitting .182 over his last 10 games, but he has also recorded four extra-base hits, nine RBIs, and one steal over that span. He also gets a good matchup against Anthony DeSclafani in an extremely hitter friendly stadium, and Moncada possesses 0.097 wOBA and 0.11 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching. He has been playing well enough to be used in all leagues for his current price tag.

Alex Bregman - 3B, at TEX ($4,500)

Bregman has been one of the hottest hitters in the MLB recently, posting a .341 average with 10 extra-base hits (five home runs), 11 RBIs, and two steals over his last 10 games. He gets a good matchup against Austin Bibens-Dirkx in an extremely hitter friendly stadium, and Bregman is an easy plug-and-play option on this slate tonight.

Freddy Galvis - SS, at OAK ($2,200)

Galvis hasn't been playing well recently, but he's fairly consistent and comes with an extremely cheap price tag. He lacks upside, but he's the type of player that will allow you to get some of the best hitters in the MLB in your lineup. He isn't the sexy play, but he has been consistent enough to get the job done as a salary relief option.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Nelson Cruz - OF, vs LAA ($4,100)

Cruz has caught fire recently, hitting .400 with a .725 slugging percentage and a 1.180 OPS over his last 10 games. He gets a tough matchup against Andrew Heaney, but Cruz owns a .731 slugging percentage and a .418 ISO against left-handed pitching this season. He has been playing well enough to be used in all leagues on this slate.

Aaron Hicks - OF, vs ATL ($3,700)

Hicks is another outfielder, who has been heating up over his last 10 games. Over that span, he's hitting .316 with six extra-base hits (five home runs) and eight RBIs. Hicks also owns 54% hard-hit and 45% fly ball rates with a 97 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. He gets a tough matchup against Sean Newcomb, but Hicks can be considered in all leagues tonight.
