7 years agoThe Kansas City Royals placed starting pitcher Ian Kennedy (oblique) on the 10-day disabled list on Tuesday with a left oblique strain. the move is retroactive to June 30, and Kennedy will be eligible to return on July 10, but oblique strains are often tricky for pitchers. Don't be surprised if Kennedy has to miss at least several turns in the rotation. Kennedy has only been an AL-only asset this year with a 1-8 record and 5.11 ERA. Whoever replaces him Wednesday against the Indians should probably be stacked against in DFS.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
