7 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Ian Kennedy (side) left his start early with a recurrence of his oblique injury. It looks like the veteran right-hander may have come back too soon from his oblique injury, and there's a very good chance he'll go back on the disabled list. Kennedy allowed five hits (one homer) and two runs while walking one and fanning three in three innings before exiting Tuesday. He now has a 5.16 ERA despite a decent 8.27 K/9 on the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
