7 years agoUpdating a previous item, Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Garrett Richards (forearm) left his start early on Tuesday against the Mariners with right forearm irritation, and he will undergo an MRI exam Wednesday. This could be an ulnar collateral ligament issue, which could lead to Tommy John surgery and end Richard's season. He's arguably LA's best starter and has a 3.66 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and useful 10.26 K/9 in 16 starts. Be prepared to be without him for an extended amount of time, depending on his MRI results.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
