7 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman (oblique) is scheduled to start a minor league rehab assignment on Monday, according to manager Dave Martinez. After a surprising rebound year in 2017, Zimmerman has been a dud in 2018, hitting .217 with five home runs and 16 RBI in just 33 games. He still has some power in his lumber, but he'll likely return to a platoon role at first with Matt Adams, making Zimm pretty much useless in mixed leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
