7 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher/outfielder Shohei Ohtani (elbow) will be re-evaluated on July 19, which would be exactly three weeks from his last evaluation, according to manager Mike Scioscia. We should have a better idea whether Ohtani will be able to pitch again in 2018. He's more attractive from a fantasy perspective on the mound, so fantasy owners will be waiting to see what the results say. He's worth stashing as a pitcher in most leagues if you have the space. As a hitter he's performed well, too, slashing .274/.355/.511 with seven home runs and 22 RBI, but he's hitting just .143 and has no homers against lefties.
