7 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Jake Faria (oblique) is moving his rehab to Triple-A Durham and will make a start Thursday. He is eligible to come off the disabled list on July 22, but he might take a bit longer to return. Faria last started a game on May 22 against Boston. He hasn't been particularly effective this year in 10 starts, going 3-3 with a 5.48 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 7.0 strikeouts per nine innings. However, the Rays will certainly welcome him back into their rotation later this month. He's mostly just a weak streaming option in AL-only leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
