7 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Denard Span continues to produce for his new team, posting six multi-hit performances over the last 16 games played. Span is currently hitting .375 in the month of July and is 6-for-14 (.429) over the last week. Span this month has raised his slugging percentage over 20 points up to .430 heading into a series at the hitter-friendly Coors Field. Span is not a power hitter but a professional veteran who could be in line for a productive weekend in Colorado. Span is on the fringes of being fantasy viable, depending on the format, but is a player on the rise and could help some rosters this weekend on a short-term basis.--Joey C - RotoBaller
